A bottle of liquid spilled on my MacBook Pro last week. It will cost about $800 in parts to fix, so I am in the market for a new one. Need to pick one up in the next few days, as I am in school and can't last without one. I am looking at the MacBook Air and Lenovo Surface Pro 3; I am used to using a Mac, so I feel like the MacBook Air is my go to, however I did notice that the screen has low resolution. I checked out the Surface Pro and it does look interesting, I am wondering if it is more useful as a tablet as opposed to a laptop, and if the interface is intuitive (coming from a Mac). Any opinions/experience with these two machines?? Will be using the laptop for note taking/internet research/watching movies.
