I have the recipe from the binah magazine for roasted tomato and sweet pepper soup from the binah
I just didn't write down if I need water for it
here is the recipe
does anyone know if I should add water to it before I blend it?
ROASTED TOMATO AND SWEET PEPPER SOUP (Binah)
6 beefsteak tomatoes, cut in half
2 red peppers, cut in half and seeded
1 large onion, peeled and halved
1 tablespoon extra-virgin olive oil (use less or more, to taste)
5 cloves garlic, peeled
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons pepper
1 tablespoon basil
½ teaspoon cumin
2 teaspoons sugar
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Spray surface of baking sheet.
Place all vegetables and garlic cloves on cookie sheet, cut side down. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, basil and cumin. Place in oven and roast until softened (approximately 25 minutes).
Remove vegetables from oven and let cool slightly. Place everything, including sugar, into blender and puree until smooth.
