I go running in public, I have done kettle bells and box-fit classes with a male instructor/mixed class, but I would not go to the pool, zumba, or yoga with men around, even as an instructor.

I'm just talking here ...
but the fact that you wrote "UNLESS he is gay" insinuates he is stupid in that he can't know an attractive woman when he sees one ... or that it won't possibly be a 'turn on' ... heck if I see an attractive woman it could turn me on - but I'm not gay
so in theory or reality - this doesn't work that way

Huh? A straight man is not "stupid" for not getting turned on by a handsome man; he's just not into men.
