I'm Jewish. My mom's Jewish. Her Mom's Jewish. 'Nuff said.
It's just way too complicated when u start sorting into boxes. I was raised Yeshivish but am way too open minded (heretic?) to be accepted comfortably into that crowd.

Well, I'm litvish/ Spanish Portuguese by descent, my family keep mostly minhag UK, which is litvish with some yekkish thrown in.
DH is half yekkish, half chassidish royalty family (estranged as married yekke) and davens in a chassidish shteibal other than his own (ie left Belz to vishnitz) but doesn't wear the levush.
We mostly hold RWMO hlachically, daven nusach sefard, have yekke minhagim and are strongly zionist. Our Rav is yeshivish and v v rational hashkafically, and paskens towards the lighter end of yeshivish.
Please put us in a box.

Lubavitch is not the same as chassidish. There are all the rest of the chassidishe groups and then lubavitch. (Im not sure where breslov fits in. I dont know much about them.) It doesnt mean that we arent chassidish - but we define the term differently then they do.
Chassidish is split into two - chabad and chagas.
There are tons of threads like this already.
Im lubavitch - chabad chassidus - so I did not vote.

It's a shame there is a limit on poll options.
Is Tzioni supposed to be Religious Zionist? But then what about Chardal?
And Chabad definitely needs its own category. I believe this site was originally intended to help shluchot stay in touch, so there ought to be a significant number.
And how different will the current poll be than this one?

Lubavitch is not the only Chabad chassidus. There were several types. Today, there is Malochim. Maybe it qualifies as a Satmar version of Chabad chassidus.

Your poll choices reveal a lot about *your* opinions about Judaism.
For example: Zionism is not a sect of Judaism. There are MO Zionists, Charedi Zionists, secular Zionists, xtian Zionists, etc. You can also find non-Zionists among those groups.

Generally when u put down yeshivish its litvish inclusive(I said generally, I know some ppl may argue)
But litvish is not necessarily a yeshivish inclusive.
That said my dh prefers to identify us as straight litvish.
As much as his fam is hard core yeshivish, He. Is. Not. Period. (At least he likes to convince himself he isn't... Smirk. He wears a black hat to daven tho.)
I on the other hand consider myself somewhat yeshivish (oh I'd never say that to him or he'll be not too happy, no no,) and I'm mainly somewhat plain old Frum (I hope!) with a "who cares what type" disposition cuz we are all here with one uniting factor and all are family.
Yes I'm originally from out of town as you can tell.
