Just a note -- they are picking a siddur at random, there is no guarantee you will get a children's one. Nor can you pick the nussach Smile

I wonder why they would do this?

I never heard of Koren books. Has anyone heard of this company?

Do they charge for shipping?

Thanks for this info. Hope there's no catch to this offer!

Maybe they are giving out the siddurim in order to spread the company name?
I have gotten a free siddur from them before, I think two years ago. It took a while to come. There was no catch, and no shipping cost. I got one email from them last year that advertised some of the products they offer.
Hope this info is helpful!

They're well-known in Israel.

Just got mine, it says Nusah Sepharadim on it.
It looks kind of interesting at first glance.
For girls you say ModAh Ani instead of Modeh Ani?
I don't know anything about the nusach but they brachos seem out of order.
Sheloh asani goyAh for girls?
A lot of different or extra words.
It's also not a full siddur and skips a bunch of stuff. It skips certain parts of Shmoneh Esrei, skips most of Ashrei, yet has the whole Lcha Dodi.
Not really sure what to make of it...
Looks like a cool enough book, wouldn't really use it as a siddur.

It's meant for children...

Sephardim do say the brachos like that, Modah Ani and shelo asani goyah.

I also got that nusach and we daven ashkenaz.

I'm not sure of the details of this offer but Koren is excellent. I have many of their seforim in our home.

I also got the sefardi siddur (we daven ashkenaz) and my 4 year old son who knows alef beis but can't read yet is THRILLED with his siddur. I've been finding him shema, modeh ani, lecha dodi etc. and he's working on sounding it out and is so proud of himself and is showing it off to anyone who walks in the door. Generally, when I daven I give my kids benchers / tehillims etc to "daven" from, but lately I have to find them the shin for shema or whatever and it can get complicated in a bencher (I.e. there's a shin, but no yud nearby for yisrael)
It is missing a lot of his limited davening repetoire (torah tziva, reishis chachma etc.)

Do you also say ani maaminah? (My niece says hareini mazamenes but kept ani maamin) I was wondering if there's a source and list for these grammatical changes...

Thanks!

No, I don't say ani maaminah. but is that really davening or just reciting a list? Modeh/ modah is actually davening for sure.
