Does anyone have any experience with Dr. Gottesman in Wesley Hills? He shares an office (or practice) with a Dr. Goldstein. I'm looking for a good eye doctor for my dc. I've seen a number of local eye doctors for my other children but wasn't impressed by any of them. I'm not sure if Dr. Gottesman specializes in pediatric eye care, but I got a very strong recommendation from someone that has been using him for her kids. I'd like to hear from others though, before I schedule an appointment. TIA.

I have heard that he is great, but I never used him. I know teens that use him, for lenses as well.
Depending on what insurance you have, there is a highly recommended pediatric Ophthalmologist. I have friends that pay cash, because he is so great with the kids. I have two kids in glasses, and one of them goes back every 2 - 6 months to monitor an eye condition. It isnt that far. You can get there without going on any highways.

I have a fantastic optometrist that deals with kids and is great with them.
Is there an concern you have or just want a check up?
But he is in westchester which is really not that far from monsey.
The only thing is if you are looking for someone who takes insurance he is not for you.
Let me know if you want his name.

Thanks vet techy! I'm really looking to stay local and want one that accepts insurance. I have no specific concerns, but I'm fed up with doctors prescribing prescriptions that are too high or too low only to have them adjusted later on...
Anyone else heard of/has experience with Dr. Gottesman?
