you are going to have a hard time finding light purple this season, it's winter they usually are selling darker colors now. I would take a look at David's Bridal online - you can layer with one of their sleeveless gowns and they are good prices esp. in clearance.

If you take a look at their website you'll notice they have several dresses and gowns in a variety of purple shades.
