I passed my road test today. So does this mean I'm a big girl?

Thanks. I'm just really nervous because the test was a joke compared to real life driving. And I'm SO not confident.

Yeah, it's normal (and good!) that you feel that way. You need to drive! Lots! Take it slow, and after a few months you will start to feel more confident (at which point, you should take it slow and be cautious, anyway!)

one car ride at a time - the best drivers are the ones who avoid the crazy drivers' mistakes ... stay focused & look all around you

you'll feel confident soon enough

I recently stopped biting my nails, and I was told that if you can work on yourself enough to go against your body's nature and achieve a goal, you have done something giant in this world and within yourself that can only propel you forward in your future endeavors.

Based on everything you have written about this process, I bless you that you should be able to use the internal strength you used here to marshal your full potential, which you have just increased, in everything you do.

You can do this. One step at a time, like everything else.

That's amazing. I also remember the post of your struggle with doing that. I'm so glad you're finally at this stage in your life.

I recently passed mine as well and I believe one of my first statements afterwards was "I feel so grown up!" Lol

I was in my late 20's when I finally got my license. If it wasn't for friends, family and my dh forcing me to drive after I got my license, I don't think I would be driving today. Even though I passed my road test, I felt like I had no idea how to drive. But the more I drove, the more confidant I became.
Today, I can't live without my car.
