What kinds of gifts would you give a doctor who is an extremely busy fellow (works at one of nation's top hospitals, professor at ivy league college, chief of huge research lab) who has made himself available at all times for phonecalls and emails for the benefit of your child's welfare?
He's middle aged, non jewish.
All ideas and suggestions will be much appreciated.

I have no idea what's appropriate, but if you happen to know of something he likes, go for it!
Don't think as something specifically for doctors, think of a good present you would give someone as a way to thank them.

My family once gave a doctor, who was extremely caring in a difficult situation, a big ,beautiful, framed prayer for the physician. (The doctor was not Jewish)
