They are all difficult to get into. Unless you have pull or an older child in the school, you might not get in. Make sure to apply early.

Ok, I dont know how accurate I am, but this is how I see it. The Cheder is the most yeshivish parent body, whereas Chaim Berlin and Mir is more of a mix of very yeshivish and less yeshivish. Chaim Berlin has many "Chaim Berliners", meaning the real yeshivish kollel chaim berlin families, but it really depends on each class individually. The Mir is probably more of the simpler flatbush families. As far as academics, I heard Chaim Berlin and the Cheder have very good academics, and I am not familiar with the Mirs academics. Chaim Berlin has yeshivish hashkafa, having become much more yeshivish recently. Chaim Berliners used to go to college more, now its considered less accepted. Yes, I send to Chaim Berlin, and I am overall very happy.
