We have the target one and for my 5 year old, and at her age, it serves its purpose. The dolls hair is terrible though, so it permanently stays in a pony tail!
I've always wondered about the toys 4 u one. Its the New york doll collection brand. How is the hair on it? I love the strollers and accessories from that brand, but never got a doll there.
Anyway, I was asking about the American girl doll because I was hoping to buy one on sale for a Chinese auction, but I think we can do with out it!
