Is there an affordable stroller for use in snow?

My regular Gracco stroller cannot handle unshoveled Brooklyn sidewalks. I need to find something I can use to get my baby ten blocks to/from my in-laws when I go to work. I've seen very good reviews on a number of all-terrain strollers, but they all cost $300 and up. That's just not in my budget. Has anyone out there found a more affordable stroller that can survive this town in winter?

Advice appreciated!

Craigslist- you can find some great deals, for example: http://newyork.craigslist.org/......html

A Mountain Buggy (and Bugaboo) works best while navigating in the Brooklyn snow, better than City Mini or other jogging strollers.
As MaBelleVie said, craigslist is the way to go.

Even with a bugaboo, and obviously any less capable stroller, snow is no fun for us wheeling mommies. Let's daven we shouldnt have a winter like last year. I was homebound practically all winter.

im not in brooklyn, but when my first was a baby/young toddler he was walked a mile to the babysitter in all weathers, including snow. We got a baby trend expedition and have been very happy with it. Its the cheapest (~$100) jogging stroller we found and has nice big bike style wheels that make it much easier to push over bumpy city blocks and through snow. We liked it so much we got the double when #2 came along.
