if one kid is sick with a bad cough and the other isn't, is it okay to take a bath together or will the germs spread?
if they are both sick with a cough, is it okay or can it make the germs worse?
I have a 1 yr old and a 2 yr old who like to bathe together and the only other option is to have one outside the tub watching while I bathe the other one. (I am the only one here at bath time and need to be able to watch both of them.)

I don't bathe my kids together in that situation. I'd skip the bath for the sick child and bathe the other one. The sick child can stay in the bathroom with you with a book or toy. If necessary, alternate bath nights. It's winter and they don't need a bath every night anyway.

I wouldn't. Too close for comfort. Can the baths wait for some time when you're not alone?
