Can anyone recommend good crafts or craft sets for this age? He loves to cut and paste and enjoys feelance arts and crafts, but I'm looking for something more structured to give as a chanukah gift.
Any ideas?

pearler beads. They had a set in Amazing Savings that guides you into making cars and stands for it.

The sell these kits where you glue together different wood pieces to make a car or an airplane or whatever. And it comes with paint to do once the glue dries. Or if you think he's ready for real woodworking, do that.
Kids that age often like piggy bank type of things too, so you can get one of those with a paint set- I've seen kits like that.

Thanks for replying, everyone! It's very cold where I live so I'm best off ordering online. I didn't know what to begin searching for...
Origami sounds fadcinating for me. I wonder if he would be able to do it, though. I'll look into it some more.
Painting and building crafts sound perfect!!
Are the beads dangerous for babies? We have little ones in the house.
