When my husband is home he re knots them - but also his strings keep ripping not sure why! what do u do with ur kids Tzitsis? I'm not even talking about washing - how do the strings stay knotted ?? He mentioned kids glue them with what?

omg! I thought that was me! the minute the tzitzis is missing a knot or half a string, he screams it's posul. I have a dozen posul tzitzis sitting and waiting for shaimos. I wish there'd be an online tutorial on reknotting tzitzis. same problem here!

my kids go through them like water, boys do cost as much as girls, wool tzitis are not cheap. I really think that they should teach mothers how to deal with them, what is possul and whats not and how to tie them,

Whenever you get a new pair, tighten the knots and then dab super glue on them (the knots). They stay knotted even through many washings, but you may need to reapply when you notice them loosening.
