IYH this January my DH will be preparing a display booth for the CES (trade show). We are going to be there for shabbos and for a few days before the show actually starts. He will be working Sun-Mon setting up.
What can I do in Vegas, on my own, that I will enjoy? Besides for slot machines, that is...
Speaking of slots, I would like to play A LITTLE...any recommendations?

Sounds like the most worthwhile of all slot machines. At least you walk out with something for your money!

Most of the casinos have fun stuff to check out - the fountain show outside Bellagio, the boat rides at Venetian, pyramids at Luxor, Brooklyn Bridge and amusement park at New York New York, lions at MGM, one has a huge aquarium and another with an outdoor pirate show (forget the names), etc.
As long as the weather is okay, you can just walk up and down the strip and check out the lobbies. They are much bigger and farther away from each other (and set back from the street) than you realize. There's also shows like Cirque de Soleil, David Copperfield, and many others, which are in the various casinos. There's also kosher restaurants, though I don't think they're in walking distance of the strip.

Do not touch the slot machines or anything of that kind. Not with one finger. Do not even look at them. Walk quickly past. It is a ghastly addiction.
Shop your heart out.
Eat.

...because nobody ever gets addicted to shopping or eating.
A bit of all of those sounds like a fun trip.
