Dd (8 months) loves getting her hands into the murky depths below.
Any ideas how I can secure the cover better? I tried putting a stool on top but to no avail. She's a strong one!

Drains in the floor to swipe the water from sponga (washing) in.

Oy...I need something making sponga even more complicated like a hole in the floor. (Sorry, couldn't resist!)
Maybe I'll duct tape it and just use the one in the bathroom...
Thanks!

The hardware store sells a cap for these holes.

A cap that goes over the original cap? Really?

No,not over the original cap but sometimes the caps are too loose. I had this problem and bought a different one that has a snug fit so baby can't pull it off

what about inserting a piece of mesh screen to the cap ... this way you still have the hole when needed - but the baby can't put things into it

I bought a cap that has slits in it for water to go through.
