Hi,
A close family member recently got engaged (YAY!). Unfortunately she is getting ZERO help from her parents. I wish I could help her more, but unfortunately Im not in that kind of financial position.
does anyone know of a lchaim gemach or organization that can help in any way?? located in Crown Heights, NY. KSCVK will help with wedding, but they dont do lchaims.
she doesnt know of anyone who can host in their house so that is not an option.

thanks, but like I said, kscvk will help for the wedding, not the lchaim.
any other ideas?

I'm sorry if this sounds rude, and it's nice of you to want to help, but why does she need a L'chaim? I ask because I didn't have one. Not because we couldn't afford one BH, but just because it didn't work out calendar wise. And it's really just a party, which obviously, if you can afford it , is nice to be able to invite family and friends to share in your simcha, but if you can't afford it, I say skip it.
