So 4 y/o dd is super sweet and loving but has really been driving us bonkers. She has started throwing tantrums, doesn't want to listen, hits her brother, won't go to sleep nicely anymore...she's also been engaging in very mischievous and destructive behavior at home (eg. Clogging up and flooding sink, Dumping out an entire container of baby powder everywhere...). We've implemented a sticker chart for the sleeping and give lots of praise for good behavior. We do timeouts here and there but those don't seem to work for her anyway as she just gets too upset to make it productive. We try to explain to her why what she was doing is not acceptable. Sometimes it works, sometimes not. And she doesn't seem remorseful for the mischievous stuff. Did I mention I'm pg which is probably the cause of this whole mess. But she didn't know I was pg until yesterday ( although I think maybe she could somehow sense it -idk). Anyway, thanks for letting me vent and all tips are welcome Smile.

Is someone bugging her at school? She is angry about something.

It could even be someone bugging someone ELSE at school, not her, but she witnesses it. It could be between two adults. But it is probably not just one time, for all this.

Or maybe some teacher is being too strict with her. Frightening her. If she has been forcefully informed, hard, that she is very bad, she may want to see how her parents react to her wicked nature. THEY will surely still love her, no? Wicked people obviously do wicked things. It comes with it.

See what's going on around her at her playgroup.

Show up there unannounced, and loiter unseen at the door. Try to see what's up, before they know you are there.

Spoke to her teacher and apparently she is amazing at school. Has friends, plays nicely, teachers love her. I'll watch a little though through the door...
