I have been a shabbos robe wearer for years. I enjoyed the comfort of robes and appreciated that I felt put together without being all dressed up. Since at this point in my life I am at home all shabbos with kids, I dont want to get dressed in my shabbos clothes and really want to wear something that is nice and washable too.
It's getting hard finding becoming shabbos robes. Maybe because I have gained some weight and the robes seem to be fitted for thin people... But I just can't see myself all dressed up (no where to go ..) all shabbos.
I am short ...around a size 10-12 and need some recommendations for skirts/tops that are comfy yet not weekday clothing. If anyone has come by some possibilities for me, your links would be very much appreciated.

What about a two piece "robe"? Or a long velour skirt

The few I see are not fitted for thin or mostly worn by thin...
There are many websites, some carry plus size.
But if you mean it's not becoming, well I don't find it becoming on most.

I find comfy jumpers (in the American use of the word) or maxi-dresses work well.

Not sure if you've tried this route but they make sleeveless shabbos robes to be worn with a shell that I find to be a bit younger looking, more movable, and I can wear a long sweater over it. I also am a size 10 and find that it is very flattering for my body type, it is a looser fit and I feel comfortable wearing it with company. I tried to find links but couldn't find but if you live near a Jewish store that sells robes hopefully they'd have.
I also love maxi dresses but only look good in them when it's maternity so that's out for me most of the time.

Look at Muslim websites. The dresses they wear look similar to a shabbos robe. And not only black.

this robe would surely hide bulges! It's just that it reminds me more of a bathrobe rather than a shabbos robe. Maybe if there would be more color options .... thanks Dolly!

What does your weekday clothing look like?
Would a simple knit wrap dress work? Or is that too plain?

I wear floor length jumpers Friday night. I have a velour for the winter and cotton for the summer. I found them either at marshalls or TJ Maxx. They are very comfortable and look pretty.
In the winter I'll also sometimes wear a floor length velour skirt with a sweater. But I find the jumper more comfortable.

Where do you think the "Frum" robes come from?
Look at the tag of your robes. Tell me if they are made in Israel.

I got a couple of long skirts from Old Navy, one chiffon and one regular t-shirt material. A couple of washable tops from Lands End and good to go!

I guess because I am short and chubby I just dont look good in a maxi dress, though people are suggesting it a lot.

Dolly, that in no way resembles anything I've ever seen called a Shabbos robe or anything I'd wear for anything other than a bathrobe.
