I'm class mother and would like to write a CHanuka Card. I'm not very creative when it comes to this kind of stuff. Anyone have any ideas?

I'm a teacher, and the best cards I ever got were simple and authentic. It doesn't have to be all cute and themed. I keep the best ones in a file in my drawer and I take them out when I start to feel discouraged or burned out. Just write a couple of sentences about what you most appreciate about what the teacher does. If all the parents are working together on this card, each parent can write in one thing. Then, you'll have a meaningful list of things you all appreciate the teacher for. It also serves as excellent positive reinforcement for the teacher to continue doing what he or she does best!

Dear teacher
Chanuka is all about bringing light,
Thank you for helping us shine so bright..
Here is a little something to express our sincere appreciation
For your selfless devotion and endless dedication.
Ever grateful,
Pumpernickle

I wish I had time...dealing with lots of parents not enough time. It was hard enough collecting!
