What is your opinion?
Do over the knee boots only look good when worn over tight pants or mini skirt?
Is it very strange looking to wear them with a below the knee skirt? Not just below but like 2 inches about.
So many of the nice boots that I like are over the knee and I've been ignoring them thinking that just can't work. But now I'm starting to think maybe it's ok.
what do you all think?

I love mine. I don't think they look weird.
I never liked the tiny flash of beige that showed between my skirt and the tops of my boots.

It won't look weird, just any design element that's higher than your skirt line won't be seen, so keep that in mind when choosing the boots.

I hope it looks OK, because I always wear my boots with midi length skirts. I think it's just fine.
