I will be spending shabbos in LA this week. Any help on where I can buy shabbos food?

There are many options. Are you looking for take out or grocery store? What area will you be staying in (Pico-Robertson, LaBrea, or valley). My favorites are in the PR area: Got Kosher is a restaurant which sells shabbos take out and yummy pretzel challah. Glatt Mart is a large grocery store with a hot food section with shabbos take out including sushi (this is less expensive than Got Kosher. When I'm not up for cooking much, I get rotisserie chicken at Glatt Mart & challahs from Got Kosher. Enjoy!

If you're on the La Brea side of town, go to Ralph's (La Brea /3rd) or Elite cuisine Beverly btwn La Brea and Detroit (shopping strip)

The Ralph's on Pico also has kosher take out and kosher bread. My friends get takeout from got kosher. Pico kosher deli and lieders. Got kosher is probably the most gourmet and expensive. The other two are more heimish style food.

Thanks all.
Do you have to pre-order at any of these places or could you just walk in and get whatever you need?

If you preorder you will definitely get what you want but chances are if you walk in there will be plenty left to buy.
