I am wanting to name a girl for a boy. Not wanting to use the name and make it a female version, but the person I wish to name for was a man of exceptional kindness. Any idea?

Shifra or Miriam or Yocheved, whose kindness saved countless Jewish babies' lives.
Sarah - wife of Avraham, who personified chesed
Rivka - who went above and beyond in her chesed for Eliezer and his camels
Ruchama - compassion, or Chana - gracious (as in kel rachum v'chanun)

Zakah - like tzeddakah
Something to do with water, maybe - like Adva (ripple).
Whatever you do, don't name her Chasida (which also means "stork"). My friend's parents did this to her and she's never forgiven them.

Chasya - similar idea to Ruchama, though I think Ruchama is much nicer.
