I just got a great camera and im working on my photography skills. im trying to figure out what I can do to make money from it. I don't have interest really in taking family shots. I have more interest in doing products, scenery, food.
any ideas to make money?

Good idea! Promotional photography is a good niche. You can do ads and catalogs too.

I doubt this would give you enough to live on, but you can sell your pictures to stock photography websites. Depending on the site, you can get a bit of money anytime someone uses your picture. (So if it's really a good picture, you'll make more than if it isn't)
