We have tried several different therapist for several years to help my son with some social issues and other problems. We have seen very little change. My DH thinks that for the most part therapy doesn't work, and when you consider the enormous expense, simply isn't worth it. My dh especially feels this way with children since they often don't understand their issues and have no interest in changing, as opposed to adults who want to get help and change. At this point we have basically wasted thousands of dollars and many hours in therapy. Has anybody seen meaningful change in their children as a result of therapy?
