According to AFP "a number" of hostages have been freed after police raided a Jewish supermarket in eastern Paris. We will update with a precise figure as soon as we have it. At the other hostage site in Dammartin, both gunmen were killed and their hostage freed.

you can see in that picture that greyish sky is in the air which means shabbos started not too long ago ... hodu lahashem ki tov - they are alive

they are reporting 4 hostages killed immediately at the start of the hostage taking.
Then the 5 hostages left were alive at the end.

first reports are usually inaccurate so this may change

I'm getting 4 hostages dead everywhere but don't know what this means. Am trying to check French news as well but they, like CNN's headline, are focusing on the police getting the gunmen from the Charlie attack.

Editing as it seems the hostage situation is over, though. So now just waiting to get a full picture of what's going on.

There are other sources saying 4 critically wounded. No one knows if these are the same 4, and if so, which report is accurate. Either way, keep davening.

Some sites are reporting that. Others are saying that its not clear. I don't think that anyone knows for sure yet.
