I know my infant is teething her top teeth really bad right now. im just nervous because I was trying to give her medicine via syringe & she really hates it & threw her head back. I poked her somewhere in her mouth, I think hard, & later in the day I happened to notice her top gum is black & blue. is that from me poking her or does it get that way from teething?

My youngest has that. Never had it before and scared me so bad!! But every time he gets a tooth it gets black and blue like a bruise before it pops through.
