I'll do it.

You have four fingers and a thumb.
A bunch of creases.
Chances are you'll have ups and downs in your life, and you'll live until you die.

There you go.

Palm reading is avodah zarah. It is against the Torah and is forbidden.

Sure. It's $800 for the first reading, and $50 for any follow up questions.

It depends what the purpose is..
Future telling is Ossur but not necessarily personality etc..

rebbetzin aidel miller does palm reading (also known as the ayin hora lady) she has haskomos from rabbanim. it is not so simple to say it's assur, there are many seforim on palm reading, its a special chochma, she did it for me, and my kids, was right on the button, and gave me suggestions how to deal with certain situations, I would reccomend her.

Do you have a source for this? I know there's an issue of tamim tih'yeh im Hashem Elokecha about trying to find out the future, but if that's no OP's intention, I don't know that it's accurate to blanketly state that it's a Torah prohibition. Also, I'm not advocating doing it, but I don't know why you called it avodah zara.

There's a chassidishe middle aged man in Jerusalem who does this. He doesn't take money and is a real erliche guy. I forgot his name, anyone know who I'm talking about? He also reads faces and is very on target. He will not tell you the future though.

First of all, I am not the OP. Second of all, I did not ask him to read my palm, he just read it. And I have to say that it was just interesting to hear what he said. He was so spot on. Just interesting, thats all.

We went to her, of anyone follows daas Torah, it's her. She's in Ramat Shlomo, she puts lead and reads palms. She looked at me and said she thinks I'm expecting a girl, she read my hand and saw a boy. A boy he is!
What she read in DH's hand about parnassa was accurate as we saw in three following months. Or personalities were spot on.

The AriZ"l read palms.
