Looking for suggestions for something to send to a shalom zachor-- twin boys!
I don't have a lot of exciting ingredients in my house:
I do have:
flour, margerine, sugar, chocolate chips, cocoa powder, eggs, powdered sugar
I want to send over a cookie or bar that can be pre-cut and plated nicely without going stale (no cake).
Any suggestions? Please include a recipe (or a link). Thank you

I'm at work, so I don't have the recipe but the coffee bars (not sure actual name) from Dining In Again are yummy, easy and look nice. One of my go-to recipes for shalom zachors
Maybe someone else has the recipe.

These are the best cookies I have ever had! My grandma made them and over the years I have tried many other chocolate chip cookies, but always go back to this one because it's the best. Tell the parents that if they want a special treat they can freeze the cookies and eat them straight from the freezer. I freeze half for eating frozen and leave the other half on the counter. Haha. They work fine with margarine.
Caveat: DOUBLE the chocolate chips and walnuts (if using walnuts)...
(use the walnuts!)

You could make sugar cookies and cut them out with baby cookie cutters ex. rattle, little people, bottle. If you have time you can decorate by mixing confectionary sugar, water and blue food coloring. You could even make 2 little menchies and have them hold hands.
