Can you recommend a good lawyer in new york that has helped you set up your trusts, estates, wills? What's better a will, revocable, or irrevocable trust?
Also, how may people have long term care insurance?
If you own property, can you qualify for medicaid if someone needs the nursing home in the future?

There are insurance agents who specialize in the above. They don't charge the exuberant fees that attorneys do and are very experienced in this field.

No they make exorbitant commissions selling insurance you may not need.
They are NOT able to set up trusts, etc. It is illegal. That field requires knowledgeable counsel.
OP in answer to your questions, it depends on your assets and life situation as to what is best.
