I usually wear a shpitzel, but my husband said I can wear a wrapunzel type wrap around the house, when we go away, etc but before I buy one, do they work on shaved heads? And where can I learn how to put one on?

http://wrapunzel.com has ideas abs tutorials how to wrap. Great place to start.
Can you wear a band or something underneath so it will grip?

There are people without hair at all (not even fuzz) that wrap....I would try a silicone grip instead of a velour one, since there is little hair for it to grab on to. Wigs.com or Paula Young may be good places for that accessory. Once you have that, get some sort of volumizer to give the look of hair, and then wrap away with tichel(s) on top.

Great tips, thanks! I see that wrapunzel actually has volumizer pieces which is great. Better than the foam I use now even

If you look on youtube (if you have access to it), you can actually look through wrapunzels tutorials - there are a few which are done by ladies with no hair due to chemo. One awesome lady demonstraits with her husbands bald head. Youll need a volumizer and a wig grip. I actually recommend the volumEZ by Judith D Paris - its more expencive but has a built in wig grip.

The built in velvet band makes these better than the usual volumizers that are meant to be worn with an extra band. One less step to deal with, and one less thing to worry about slipping off.

Love it!
