We thought the easiest way to tell all of our friends about our aliayh would be through MM and do an aliyah theme- so we have come up with milk,honey, airplane sugar cookies (unless I can find and Israel shaped cookie cutter) a bottle of wine from Israel- looking for some cute ideas- was thinking of falafel and chumus as well....any other cute ideas. Wanted to put it all in one of the old kibbutz style hats- but can't seem to find any online... ideas?????

Put it in a packing box. Perhaps with a picture of E"Y on the front.

We did that, we made honey cakes and a container of milk, with a poem about our upcoming aliyah. My husband was a milk container, I was a bee and the kids were glasses of milk. Was so much fun and an amazing way to break the news to family and friends

Thanks for the great ideas! Love the packing box and teudat zahut ideas!!! (those hats are too expensive for the amount we need to give out- but soo cute!)

You can give out bamba and maybe just get blue paper bags and make an Israeli flag on them with white tape or paint

I was looking last year at this b/c we were also in the planning stages but not ready to announce to people. b''H, we're here in Israel now and just want to say thanks for the great ideas  . Looking forward to incorporating some of these in our first MM in our new homeland!
