Keep all your tupperwear in a lower cabinet, and let him get in there and explore. Same thing with canned goods, unless he's the type who likes to tear labels off. Dd could stack cans for hours, but wasn't so interested in blocks. If I'd known that in advance I could have saved a fortune in toys!

are you not worried of them getting dented and breaking? (then having to use it right away?)
bec it's a great idea, I just wouldnt want to ruin all my canned foods...

My daughter who is 1.5 empties out my containers all day. I also have silicone muffin holders those are the most fun for her. Their colorful and I have about 20 of them. Makes such a mess... But at least she keeps busy. My mother always told me there is no reason or need to entertain the kids all day.. They figure it out. Sometimes I think my daughter is bored but she always just gets into something to make a mess.. (blankets in toilets, brushing her teeth...)
