pick a person app -
I have entered each of my kids names - sometimes when they argue over something of going first, or which kids sit in the front and which sit in the back - we open the app - I enter all the kids names that are in the argument - spin the dice and whoevers name it lands on will be the one to go in the back, or the front, or be first to do something... - it ends an argument in a fun way - like pulling a name out of the hat - and all sides agree to go by the random name spun from the app.

Me too. It's useful when you hear a nice song and want to identify it.
I'm usually on the endless gmail-facebook-feedly-imamother cycle.

Information about bus and train travel, including real-time info about the position of the bus or train where available. I use it at bus stops in Jerusalem that don't have one of those signs telling you when the next bus is coming. Not 100% right, maybe on some buses the thing that broadcasts its position is broken, the signs also get it wrong sometimes, but useful if you want to know if you've missed the bus. Particularly if it's the last bus of the night. Also the signs don't tell you that, they just don't show the bus and you don't know if it's because it's only showing you buses that are arriving soon or there are really no more of that line tonight.
More organized people could probably use it to avoid missing the bus in the first place but I also have the GetTaxi app.
There are other public transport apps and areas that they cover probably vary so of course it's best to find out if the app works where you want to use it.
