Does anyone know where I can find poppy strudel/yeast cake in either Jerusalem or Tel Aviv?
Let me first clarify what I'm looking for. It's not a regular poppy cake. I call it poppy strudel
but it doesn't have the thin fillo pastry. It has poppy filling (like the one for hamantaschen) but
the surrouding cake is more like yeast cake/babka variety.
Someone brought it for us from Jerusalem once but they can't remember where it came from.

I found this near emek refaim from the jerusalem post - claims it's the oldest bakery & one of the top 5 ... I myself called them to order a cake for my kiddies - I hope they have what you're looking for
