I am am making a sunday breakfast upsherin soon and need ideas what to serve. I will have a sweet table with many (mostly dairy) confections-cheese cakes, cheese buns, cheese tartlets, cookies, peanut chews... I am planning to have some salads, but need ideas for other food that can be made in advance that I can serve-real food not cake. Things like scrambled eggs are not am option because those are best fresh.
Anyone have ideas for me?

These can be frozen and removed from freezer night before. Then warm up in the morning on a low temperature:
Lukshen Cheese Kugel
Cheese Blintzes with strawberry sauce
You can also have onion croissants or garlic knots. They freeze well. Serve with salads:
Greek salad - needs to be made fresh but absolutely delicious!
Easy lettuce, crouton salad

How about waffles served with a variety of toppings... fresh fruit, whipped cream, syrup.
For less dessert-like, maybe quiches?

Yes, bagels, smoked fish, cheeses all sound good. So do quiches or a baked frittata - good because it's a lot of protein, is filling, and can be made in advance. Can make mini tarts with cheese and phyllo dough in muffin tins. I served Mac and cheese at my kids' upsheirns. I thought it would be mostly for kids but grown ups loved it.
For morning could also do oatmeal bake with fresh berries on top.
Mazal tov!

sounds yum.
Some type of egg dish that will keep well can work. Also pancakes, waffles, or blintzes. You can also do granola and yogurt and fruit type thing layered in cups. I think a plain cheese quiche (not with lots of onions or spices) is a also a nice breakfast option. You can also do a crustless quiche.

If you have a waffle maker, make cups of waffle batter and set up a DIY waffle station!

waffles or pancakes can also be made in advance and kept warm in a sterno.
