Dh were talking over shabbos, is there anywhere we could go an work for a summer in Israel and learn how to farm? We came up with the idea of living on a farm type set up in a frum community, in eretz yisroel. Is there such a thing?

I'm sure there must be kibbutzim where you can work for your room and board. Hopefully someone else will chime in with some names for you to check out.

Maybe not this year because of shmittah, but next year for sure.

What exactly were you looking to do? Mikl cows, clean horses? OR something more specific?

Op here.

We would love to learn the ropes of farm living and potentially make Aliyah and pursue that lifestyle. We have kids, if we worked on a kibbutz one summer we could bring the kiddos I'm hoping?

Kibbutz Sde Eliyahu is a lovely place focused exclusively on organic agriculture. We visited them (as a tourist attraction) last year.
