We live in a small town in the US and it is getting to the point where we need to leave in the next year or two for chinuch reasons. (Anon because until we decide definitely I don't want people in my community to know). My oldest is currently in 5th grade and as far as I can tell won't be the type of kid that can be sent away for high school. We need to move to a place where there is a viable high school option for him. He is a great kid, but not typical. I need a high school that caters to boys with different learning styles - and can't sit and learn for hours straight. He has a diagnosis of ADHD, but is thriving in the school he is in currently.
We need an open minded school that is OK with computer use at home, and sports - but also teaches the boys the value of learning and middos.
Not co-ed, but modern orthodox ok (although we're more open minded yeshivesh, or right wing modern - whatever :-) ) Any ideas?
Once I get an idea of where such high schools are I can figure out our options of where to move.
Thanks!

Detroit. I know people who've found the West Bloomfield yeshiva (high school) works with them, as you describe.
Hatzlacha!

Thank you for the suggestions. I will look into all the a above schools.
Anyone with any suggestions of yeshivas specifically geared to boys with ADHD?
