I too like the parsha candy idea because while kids usually get shabbos junk and treats, at least this makes them think and connect a bit

It seems like if you sign up for the parsha candy, you get a weekly delivery of candy that somehow connects to the parsha. Gets a discussion going. The kids enjoy their snack.

here is a link [link removed] that explains how to create your own "Parsha candy." It's a cute idea, and I wouldn't mind if someone got us a subscription as a gift, but my kids don't need more (expensive) sugar. They get plenty at shul!

I've ordered from oh nuts! for family in Monsey (no branch in Lakewood as yet that I know of) but the link just took my breath away! Those chocolate roses are stunning! And love the color coded candy! Good to know the options, for the next Simcha.
