If you were visiting Monsey and had an hour on a Sunday afternoon to get away and do something fun and interesting with your spouse, what would you do? (Low budget, no restaurant).

Drive to Nyack (other end of 59), all the way to the end, make a right at the end of main street (what 59 turns into), then a left after I think 2 stop signs, and sit for a little bit by the water at the park. That probably would require more like 1.5-2 hours since with traffic it may be a half hour each way, although usually more like 15 min.

Are you one for hiking in the snow? Go to Kakiat Park/Trails off of Route 202.
The library on Route 59 (I'm sorry but I forgot the name) has a Holocaust Museum (they were redoing it so I'm not sure if it's open, but you can definitely call). If you're interested, I'll look up their phone number for you.
