All of a sudden I'm having 2 strange issues. One, the desktop icons look greyed out, like they are fading. What does that mean? Also, the computer is really slow, and I get a message saying that there are background programs operating. Or, I get a message saying I have low memory.
Have any of you had these issues, and what should I do? I'm at such a loss computer-wise, and this is our family's only computer. I use it for work, and everyone else uses it for fun, which is fine. But now it seems we have run into issues with the computer and we can't really afford a new one.
What to do? Any help would be very, very, welcome and appreciated.
