Hi, we are looking to remodel the kitchen in the house we are buying, and would like to get some recommendations. We want nothing fancy or custom, just basic cabinets with some extra stuff like a pantry, some pull-outs, etc. Who should we use? Home Depot or one of the Jewish places?
Also, how much should we expect to pay for the cabinets (I know appliances and floors are extra), for a basic 10x10 kitchen plus an island? If you can post your experiences (and pictures if possible), I would really appreciate it!

I am not sure that you would come out cheaper with Home Depot unless you use their cheapest line-which is real junk. And the Jewish places wil be able to advise you better. I don't have experience with this, but some friends used the place on South Clifton (forgot the name-used to be Kitchen OUtlet Center) and were very happy with the advise the women there gave. Very down to earth.
