I don't think I'm being flippant or claiming to be a political genius. Sometimes two people see the same fact pattern and arrive at different conclusions. That's where polite and intelligent disagreement come into play.
Neither of us is a foreign policy expert. We may both be wrong. You may be right. And I may be right too. You ought to at least be willing to consider the possibility.
