We're looking in northern NJ, central Jersey, Monsey, and NYC, but not Queens or Brooklyn. DS has some definite social difficulties and some learning/focus issues, and he's really bright and socially motivated. The only school that seems to fit is Sinai at Kushner, but there's a few reasons we might not want that, including the coed thing.
Any ideas? Special needs or not but good for a kid like him. We're willing to supplement some services.

What, other than the co-ed issue, don't you like about Sinai? And there are many families that would not typically send their children to a co-ed school that send to Sinai.

We're looking at Sinai as a very real possibility. The coed issue is mostly about not introducing the girl factor into my socially delayed, impulsive, and very much hormonally age- appropriate boy's everyday teenage life. But it's not the only factor.
We have sent to Sinai before, and love it.We also know its plusses and minuses for us, like any program has. The minuses aren't inherent minuses; they just might not make it the best match for Ds. Or maybe it is. But we want to know our options.
