We're probably going to end up in RBS, but has anyone here made Aliyah with NbN Go North? If so, do they really come through with all the extra support? I've heard mixed reviews.

I don't know about NBN. I think maybe it depends on the situation. Mostly, they are volunteers just trying to help. So the quality of the support may depend on the ability of the volunteer. Or, were you meaning financial support? Do they offer bonuses for going north?
I don't know how much of Israel you have seen, but I think going North should be a real consideration. RBS is so congested. If you're from NY, then it won't bother you. But if you are from OOT, then consider other options. This is such a lovely country. The small towns are really special.
I live in a small town in the South now, after raising my kids for 10 years in RBS. My family loves living in the South and visiting the North, and we avoid the central belt as much as possible.

If I understand correctly, NBN has taken over for the sochnut-- they are a real live government agency.
Check their website-- tons of info. there-- including people to speak to in each community you are considering.
