How long can a frozen package of nova salmon pieces (lox) stay fresh in the freezer? I was doing some pesach cleaning and found a package dated July of 2014, it looks ok but would it be fine to eat or should I discard it? I hate wasting food, but then again I don't want anyone to get sick.
