Anyone know of somewhere nice to go for Shabbos? It will be our anniversary and we'd like to either find a nice hotel or rent someplace pretty near a shul... We live in Brooklyn so it should be somewhere drivable...

There are 2 hotels: Allegria is fancy and long beach hotel is renovated Jackson hotel that has a kosher restaurant (worth inquiring if they are open for prepaid meals on Shabbos) young israel of long beach is walkable from both, google map for exact distances. I remember seeing a groupon for Allegria recently so you may be able to get a deal since it's off season. It's on the beach and if the weather is nice you can walk the boardwalk

Why not Manhattan? an hotel or Air BnB apartment near Central Park, Meals at Prime Kosher. a smorgasbord of shuls to choose from.
