Well, actually that post isn't a review of some spiralizers; it's a post on three different devices for making zucchini noodles. She only reviewed one spiralizer, which happened to be the Paderno. And as rise above pointed out, there are other highly-rated spiralizers on Amazon that are less expensive, such as the one rise above linked, by Spiralizer. That's $30 compared to $40 for the Paderno.
I don't have room for a spiralizer in my small kitchen; I can't afford space-wise to get devices that do only one or two things. It would be nie if they could figure out a way to add that function onto a regular food processor.

I'm mainly waiting to get because I"m concerned about space. I'd love one more compact - the vertical ones look like thier foot print is smaller.
I use my julienne peeler on yom tov but not shabbos. I'm assuming a spiralizer would be similar.

How much do you need need for topping? However much you want to put on top of the salad.
I make zoodles and cheese on pesach. It's a hit.
I also cracked a piece of the handle, but it can stll be used. I can do many veggies before my hands get tired. |
Can you post a recipe or instructions for the zoodles and cheese?

I have a spirooli.
I love mine so much that I bought 1 for each of my daughters.
It's so much fun to use that I get carried away, spiralizing.
You don't get tired.
It is a little hard to clean though.
The part with the little spikes, not the blade.
When making zucchini noodles, do not dress until the absolute last minute, or it will get soupy on you.
I just finished making 3 big tubs of pesto (for Pesach) to serve with my faux pasta.
I also want to experiment, and make the hotdogs with potato spiralized around.
