ds just turned 1. he's 24 pounds, and quite tall. he is currently using the graco snugride in the car, rear facing, and his feet are squished up against the seatback he's facing. he also barely fits in the seat. Can I put him in a forward facing toddler carseat yet? I feel like with his size he'll be seated more securely. (I don't like the toddler seats in rear facing, his legs will still squish up against the seat back. when my dd was 1 and I had this issue 10 years ago, I put her forward facing into a toddler car seat. but have the rules changed and they recommend rear facing till age 2?
